From 3b1639daa3650faf1b56906524b75f019f707f00 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Takoroka <137927095+Takoroka@users.noreply.github.com> Date: Wed, 28 Oct 2026 11:29:20 -0400 Subject: core: emulate six CPU cores Switch 2 applications are given cores 0..5 (title 4's npdm) and start a job worker per core. With four emulated cores, 4 and 5 were folded onto 0 and 1, so two cores ran two workers each. Switch 1 titles keep using cores 0..3; core 3 stays the shared system core. --- src/core/hle/kernel/kernel.cpp | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) (limited to 'src/core/hle/kernel/kernel.cpp') diff --git a/src/core/hle/kernel/kernel.cpp b/src/core/hle/kernel/kernel.cpp index 4f1d849209..b437dd4b4e 100644 --- a/src/core/hle/kernel/kernel.cpp +++ b/src/core/hle/kernel/kernel.cpp @@ -171,7 +171,7 @@ struct KernelCore::Impl { schedulers[core_id].reset(); } - // Next host thead ID to use, 0-3 IDs represent core threads, >3 represent others + // Next host thead ID to use, IDs below NUM_CPU_CORES represent core threads, the rest others next_host_thread_id = Core::Hardware::NUM_CPU_CORES; // Close kernel objects that were not freed on shutdown -- cgit v1.2.3
