From e37b4b9fa60f02fa77a4795cdd1bed0b8c71b933 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Takoroka <137927095+Takoroka@users.noreply.github.com> Date: Sun, 1 Nov 2026 02:02:00 -0500 Subject: texture_cache: collect images in the emptiest device memory blocks first Deleting by age alone left every block partly used: the collector deletes thousands of images a minute and new ones land in the holes, so blocks seldom empty (title 1: ~0.8 GB of holes in ~190 32 MiB blocks after ten minutes, counted by the driver as used). Among the oldest candidates, 8 per image a pass may delete, those in the emptiest blocks go first, so blocks drain and VMA returns them; placement already prefers the fullest blocks.
