* [cmake] Add ENABLE_WERROR option (#4080)lizzie2026-08-091-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Should warnings be errors? that's a philosophical debate which I can only answer with "no, but if you think otherwise here is an option for you" Signed-off-by: lizzie <lizzie@eden-emu.dev> Reviewed-on: https://git.eden-emu.dev/eden-emu/eden/pulls/4080 Reviewed-by: crueter <crueter@eden-emu.dev> Reviewed-by: MaranBr <maranbr@eden-emu.dev>
* [externals] Update to SDL3 (#3952)Kaydax2026-05-181-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since the launch of the steam controller I think it's only best to push towards updating to SDL3 allowing for a wider range of controller support I went ahead and started on getting it working. Everything here should be functional, I've personally tested it all on Arch Linux. Still untested on windows, so looking for feedback on that Any feedback and help would be appreciated! Main changes: - Bump everything to SDL3 - Handle SDL3 audio and input - Add steam controller support, including HD Rumble - Improved battery reporting via the status icon by using real % rather than state alone Co-authored-by: crueter <crueter@eden-emu.dev> Reviewed-on: https://git.eden-emu.dev/eden-emu/eden/pulls/3952 Reviewed-by: crueter <crueter@eden-emu.dev> Reviewed-by: MaranBr <maranbr@eden-emu.dev> Reviewed-by: Lizzie <lizzie@eden-emu.dev>

* [cmake] Start requiring SDL2 (#3632)crueter2026-02-251-14/+12
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Closes #3466 Like said in the issue and the OpenSSL equivalent, disabling SDL2 on desktop is just not something we want to do. It's not worth the added burden of supporting the n+1'th matrix. * chore: make yuzu REUSE compliantAndrea Pappacoda2022-07-271-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | [REUSE] is a specification that aims at making file copyright information consistent, so that it can be both human and machine readable. It basically requires that all files have a header containing copyright and licensing information. When this isn't possible, like when dealing with binary assets, generated files or embedded third-party dependencies, it is permitted to insert copyright information in the `.reuse/dep5` file. Oh, and it also requires that all the licenses used in the project are present in the `LICENSES` folder, that's why the diff is so huge. This can be done automatically with `reuse download --all`. The `reuse` tool also contains a handy subcommand that analyzes the project and tells whether or not the project is (still) compliant, `reuse lint`. Following REUSE has a few advantages over the current approach: - Copyright information is easy to access for users / downstream - Files like `dist/license.md` do not need to exist anymore, as `.reuse/dep5` is used instead - `reuse lint` makes it easy to ensure that copyright information of files like binary assets / images is always accurate and up to date To add copyright information of files that didn't have it I looked up who committed what and when, for each file. As yuzu contributors do not have to sign a CLA or similar I couldn't assume that copyright ownership was of the "yuzu Emulator Project", so I used the name and/or email of the commit author instead. * input_common/tas: Base playback & recording systemMonsterDruide12021-09-181-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | The base playback system supports up to 8 controllers (specified by `PLAYER_NUMBER` in `tas_input.h`), which all change their inputs simulataneously when `TAS::UpdateThread` is called. The recording system uses the controller debugger to read the state of the first controller and forwards that data to the TASing system for recording. Currently, this process sadly is not frame-perfect and pixel-accurate. Co-authored-by: Naii-the-Baf <sfabian200@gmail.com> Co-authored-by: Narr-the-Reg <juangerman-13@hotmail.com>

* cmake: Use SDL 2.0.14 and fix CMake scope issuelat9nq2021-04-171-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Forces using SDL 2.0.14. Upgrades the SDL external to that version. Adds a message when switching to the external. Fixes an error where input_common only links to SDL when SDL2_FOUND is set, but externals/CMakeLists cannot set that variable to the required scope. Switch to using ENABLE_SDL2, which we can use since we now include the SDL source.
