Request the Wayland platform plugins and their client graphics and shell
integrations from linuxdeploy's Qt plugin. The existing Qt installation
already contains them, so no extra Qt downloads are needed.
Addresses #298.

The release build configures with BUILD_TESTING=OFF and YUZU_TESTS=OFF, so a
push that only touches src/tests produces the same binaries on all seven
platforms. Exclude that directory from the path filter so it does not queue a
rebuild; a push that also touches a build input still runs.

Old contrib guide links to Eden and account registration instructions. Updated to nx2 branch and policy links, easier for new contributors to follow correct steps.

Revert the Android APK build and release publication introduced by #360, and restore the default Android application ID. Automated Android releases are paused while support issues are addressed.

Adds an android-arm64 job that builds the mainline release APK twice: as
dev.eglantine.eglantine and as com.antutu.ABenchMark. The package name comes
from a new appId Gradle property. Both APKs are published with the release.

Pushes in quick succession cancelled every build before it finished, so a
busy stretch published no release. Let the running build finish and keep
the newest push queued behind it.

The aqt-installed Qt was pinned to 6.8.3 while the MinGW, macOS and local
builds already use current Qt. 6.12.0 matches the Qt local test builds run on.

This fork only ships the Linux PGO build, so drop the other platforms,
the tar.gz and the Discord ping, which needs a webhook secret this
repository doesn't have. Publish a checksum alongside the AppImage.

Adds a macos-arm64 build on the macos-15 runner with the Homebrew
packages docs/Deps.md lists. The app bundle is made self-contained with
macdeployqt, plus eden-cli inside it; the Homebrew search paths
macdeployqt leaves are removed so machines with Homebrew still use the
bundled libraries, and the step fails if anything points outside the
bundle. It is ad-hoc signed (with the entitlements when the tree has
them) and published as a zip.

This adds an experimental aarch64 platform in Github Actions (with and
without PGO) to compile for aarch64 on Linux.

apt.llvm.org's unversioned clang/lld metapackages in llvm-toolchain-noble still
require clang-23 while that same suite already ships clang-24, so installing them fails with
unresolvable dependencies. Take the release branch and the versioned packages instead, both named
by PGO_LLVM_VERSION, and point -B at /usr/lib/llvm-23/bin because lld-23 installs ld.lld only
there.

release-binaries ran on its own only for pushes to nx2, so nx2-experimental
builds reached Releases only from manual runs. Pushes to nx2-experimental
now build both platforms and publish them as a pre-release too.

GitHub zips every artifact on download, so the Windows artifact (itself a zip of build/release/bin) came out as a zip inside a zip. The bin folder is now the artifact; the release job zips it once for the release, and the AppImage is uploaded as is.

The Linux artifact was the bare eglantine binary, which only ran with the
same Qt 6.8 and libraries installed. Package eglantine and eden-cli with
linuxdeploy and its Qt plugin instead (Qt, FFmpeg and the other libraries
bundled; glibc, display libraries, the GPU driver and the Vulkan loader
come from the system), and say so in the release notes.

Build eden-cli along with the Qt frontend and package both. When every
platform built, a release job creates a pre-release (tag build-<run
number>) with the Windows zip and the Linux tarball attached: on pushes
to nx2, and on manual runs unless the publish box is unticked.

spent 2 hours on a document award
This is a revised version of our original AI policy that is cautiously
permissive to skilled developers using AI responsibly, while hopefully
keeping out the script kiddies spamming their mom's credit card on
Claude tokens.
This will be trialed for at least a week once merged, any
revisions/changes should be made within the next few months
